DIY: moss can flower vase

I love flowers. I love getting them. I love giving them. I love smelling them. I love looking at them. I love picking them. I love each and everything about them, sans the bugs that come with em ;)

Which is why I was super excited when I found this DIY project. It’s cheap, it’s cute, it’s easy and takes no skill. PERFECT!

1. Save your aluminum cans – washed out and with no sharp edges around the top

2. Buy sheet moss–hot glue gun sheet moss around the outside of the clean, dry can–all the way around.

3. Wrap a piece of string, twine, raffia, ribbon, whatever and tie a bow!

4. fill with cold water, fill with fresh cut flowers, voila!

Such a great way to spice up bringing a friend flowers…I just LOVE it! ;) And hope my friend does this evening too <3

idea from Once Wed… I plan on trying their version next with some potted flowers to grow inside (or out!) all summer long :)
